My brother purchased two solar called "the bomb" it is more expensive than most. You use a five gallon bucket which can be purchased at home depot. you heat water put it in the bucket and its powerful shower flows down the water and is a good flow shower that makes showering fast and easy. It is portable but somewhat bulky but effective. They were grateful to receive these showers and found it to be very effective. The Bomb is re-chargable and most can be recharged by easy to charge solar charges. A small portable stove such as Sterno make heating water easy.

Walmart has solar shower from Ozark Trails for under 9 dollars. These are good ones. Do not purchase Callahan brand. ALSO solar only since most possessions are only enough to fill back packs. These solar showers can be used easily. I am working some ideas and hope to implement those ideas soon. I am sorry for the side buttons it's hard to do website work without internet or a laptop to work on. We manage our own situations. Its wonderful work to help those without homes to manage their's. Please send your testimonials of how it helped when you hand out the portable showers to the homeless you serve. |
